Australian Wool Innovation has announced its annual Call for Proposals for organisations interested in On-farm and Off-farm research and development projects with AWI.
The organisation invites individuals, companies and organisations to submit project applications that address AWI strategic priorities and programs. These are detailed in AWI’s strategic plan, available from here.
AWI invests in research, development and marketing (RD&M) across the supply chain to enhance the profitability, international competitiveness and sustainability of the Australian wool industry, and to increase demand and market access for Australian wool.
The investment policy risk appetite of AWI seeks to balance a risk position between investing in higher risk activities that may drive substantial growth in the demand for wool and the need to remain a stable organisation with the capacity to continue to work for woolgrowers long into the future.
To help identify the type of projects AWI would like to invest in, AWI has prepared a table that sets out the programs in each of these strategic areas as well as the AWI Manager responsible.
When submitting proposals for 2017/18 funding, applicants should use the main Project Proposal Response Form(OR the Shearer Training Proposal Response Form and Shearer Training Budget Breakdown Attachment if applicable).
