The Alexander Downs Beef Program at Merriwa in the Upper Hunter Valley is requiring the supply of Limousin Infused cattle for its Certified Limousin Beef Program.
The Alexander Downs fully integrated Backgrounding / Finishing and Abattoir operation who has been working with Australian Limousin Breeders Society to develop a branded Limousin beef program require the supply of well-bred, better types of Limousin Infused Heifers up to 300kg.
The Alexander Downs Limousin Beef Program is focused on supplying the high end retail butcher shop market which requires carcases that are well finished between 200kg to 250kg.
