There were 74 stud exhibits and numerous Limousin and Limo x commercial cattle at the EKKA with Flemington Cupcake L3 winning grand champion female.
Donna Robson from Flemington Limousin stud (Mountview Orchards) exhibited the Grand Champion Limousin female – Flemington Cupcake L3 with calf at foot, which then went on to win the Champion of Champion cow (interbreed) amongst stiff competition from Charolais, Brahman, Angus and Simmental.

The commercial success was as equally as strong and well represented taking out multiple classes and champions in both the led and unled competitions.
- Grand Champion Led Steer – ‘Voodoo Child’ – a 594kg yearling Limousin steer, owned and exhibited by David and Scott Bartley (Warwick QLD) bred by and purchased from Samantha Fletcher of Bluffview Limousin Stud (Tenterfield) and which sold for $56/kg (dressed) to the Brekkie Creek Hotel (Brisbane),
- Medium Weight Champion Led Steer – ‘Black Hart Bart’ awarded to Anthony O’Dwyer (Dalby, Qld) for a Limousin steer,
- Reserve Champion Medium Weight Led Steer – ‘Banger’ – awarded to David Achilles and the McCarthy family of Lochinvar Limousin Stud, weighing in at 478kg
- Champion Single Steer – ‘Helix’ – awarded to Jason and Megan Livingstone from the Ballycasheen Limousin Stud (Maidenwell, Qld) was a 688kg Limousin steer,
- Grand Champion Prime Beef and Champion Pen of 3 Steers – Owned and exhibited by Tom and Joy Surawski (Boonah, Qld) originally in the 451kg – 520kg live weight class. They averaged 507kg and sold for $4.55/kg to Coles,
- Champion Local Trade weight steer – awarded to Brodie and Vicki Budd and Willoise Grazing (Wandoan, Qld) for their 510kg Limousin cross steer. Weighing 510kg, it sold for $4.05/kg to Masterford Meats.
- Champion Junior Led Heifer (Live) – ‘Badger’ – exhibited by Callum McNicoll (Stanthorpe Highschool, Qld and junior ALBS member of ‘Stormy Limousins’) and bred by The Downfall Limousin Stud,
- Champion Junior Led Heifer (OTH) – ‘Badger’ (as above) – awarded 90 points,
