A series of workshops are being held in Gippsland to assist farmers, share-farmers, and employees in developing clear plans to manage key risks to their dairy business.
The two-day sessions are running in February and will provide producers with the knowledge and skills to manage volatility on farm and have more confidence for the future.
The managing your dairy business risk in a changing climate workshops will also provide farmers with a better understanding of the drivers and impact of climate variability in their district.
These hands-on sessions are an excellent opportunity to hear from informative speakers and experts, and network with other dairy farmers and business owners.
It is important participants attend both sessions to get the most out of the workshop. A bonus two hour farm visit by an Agriculture Victoria dairy extension officer is also included following the workshop.
Spots for this pilot program are limited and those interested are encouraged to book now.
