Shorthorn Judging at Ekka was run last week with Grand champion bull: Royalla Uptown N194 exhibited by Royalla & Marellan Shorthorns.
Judge Roger Evans of Nagol Park Shorthorns said the quality had been exceptional.
“We saw a lot of different cattle for different markets on show today. Pleasing to see high yield cattle maintaining their quality. They are animals which are suitable to a wide range of markets,” he said.
The Job family had exceptional results through the day but all exhibitors took home a either a Champion or Reserve Champion ribbon showing the depth from the event.
