Finding the resources to get to key events can be challenging for younger breeders, despite the fact they benefit from the lineup of speakers and information presented as much as anyone in the industry.
To help alleviate the costs involved, the Shorthorn Youth Foundation, with support from the City of Wagga Wagga, is sponsoring up to 10 tickets to the two day World Shorthorn Conference and dinner for eligible Shorthorn Youth members.
Youth members are required to be current financial members of Shorthorn Beef and aged between 18 to 25 years or attending with an accompanying parent or guardian if under 18 years old.
The 2 day event will include an outstanding lineup of speakers as well as the WSC dinner featuring Thousand Guineas Shorthorn Beef.
Youth members will not only have the change to hear from some of the best in the Beef industry, but also have the change to mingle with International Shorthorn visitors.
Youth members only need to fill in the World Conference Ticket Form and submit the form to the Shorthorn Beef office, nominating that they wish to apply for the scholarship. Youth members have until 30th August at 5.00 pm to submit their entries.
The Shorthorn Youth Foundation committee will contact the successful scholarship recipients.
