The management committee for the Herefords Australia Wodonga National Show and Sale have decided the event will proceed albeit in a completely different format for 2020.
Given the current restrictions imposed by government, and the risk that these may still be in place, or more stringent in May 2020, this year’s event will be held completely online and will not be held in Wodonga, VIC.
All bulls entered will be professionally videoed in the coming weeks. Judging will still occur, however will be done using the professional videos and the sale will proceed using a simultaneous helmsman auction on Auctions Plus.
Online judging will take place in the days leading up to the sale and be announced on the Herefords Australia website and social media pages.
The online sale will be held on Thursday May 14 2020 as planned.
The management committee have done a tremendous job putting together an exciting and innovative plan for 2020 that keeps the event within their control and not at risk of sudden cancellation due to changing policies.
At this stage the management committee for the Herefords Australia National Show and Sale (Dubbo) is hoping to proceed with the usual physical event format as their first preference for the 2020 show and sale. Any changes to this format will be made by the committee as required in a timely manner..
