The Master Breeder herd of Jon and Nadine Holland was dispersed on farm at Newbridge to buyers from all parts of Victoria and NSW both bidding on site and via Elite Livestock online platform.
Sale top of $8,500 was paid by K & H Jones of Foster for Holloddon Superstyle Corrine 2551, VG 86 on 1st lact, she had produced over 11,000 litres as a heifer and is due November to Doorman. The same buyers also selected Holloddon Baxter Laura 2217, EX at $8,000 and the great young cow Holloddon Brawler Laura 2481, VG at $5,250.
Equal second high seller was Holloddon -R MVP Roxy 2660, she has a BPI of +298 and is from the world famous Roxy line, she sold at $8,000 to local Breeders W & J Stewart of Newbridge.
Other local Breeders included CL Freemantle of Prairie who selected Holloddon-R Goldmine Roxy 2480, VG at $7,250 along with Holloddon Tableau Charcole 2245 who recently classified EX 92 also at $7,250.
Western Vic buyers were strong throughout the day including Lendene P/L who purchased Holloddon Ladd Charcole-Red at $7,100.
Brent and Kim Mitchell of Bamawn paid $6,700 for the ‘cover cow’ Holloddon Dealer Corrine 2153 who recently scored EX 93, they also secured lot 1 Holloddon Twist Leonie 2381, VG 87
with all her proceeds of $4,800 being donated to the Sheri Martin Youth Fund.
Other noted sales included Holloddon Jacot Charcole 2637-Red at $5,750 to D Latham of NSW.
Holloddon Goldmine Laura 2374, VG 88 at $5,500 to Kryshlaye Holsteins of Leongatha.
Holloddon Adonis Charcole 2527-Red at $5,500 to Launder Farms also of Gippsland. Holloddon Tenyson Bebe 2305, VG 87 at $5,300 to P Fullerton of Nirranda. Holloddon Niels Laura 2530, VG at $5,100 to J & J Hibberson of Katunga who also selected Holloddon Goodwhone Charcole 2525 at $5,000.
Holloddon Asterix Corrine 2406, VG at $5,000 to M Meyland of Waaia.
