Joined Dorper ewes make $427 and first cross ewes $354

Dorper-NynganThe highlight of the week goes to A/c “Canonbar Pastoral Company” Nyngan, NSW who offered a line of White Dorper ewes (pictured), aged 3 to 6 years, weighing 73kgs and scanned in lamb to Etiwanda & Kaya Dorper rams.

These ewes sold own AuctionsPlus for $427 to a buyer in Willangie, VIC. Additionally a line a 1.5 year old ewes were offered, weighing 71kgs, SIL and sold for $415 to the same buyer.

Merino ewe lambs averaged $190 and sold from $160 to $240. The top price went to A/c “PL & PK Albeck” St George, QLD.

These Bullamon Plains blood ewe lambs are Aug/Sep ’19 drop, weigh 49kgs with a 60mm skin and have been joined to Coolalee rams, heading to Inverell, NSW. Another highlight includes a line of ewe  lambs from Bathurst, NSW.

They are unjoined and predominantly Nenena blood, Aug/Sep ’19 drop, 48kgs and have a 20mm skin which sold for $230.

Merino ewe hoggets averaged $249 and sold from $143 to $316. The top price went to A/c “JH & LM Evans & Sons” Fernihurst, VIC.

These unjoined Woodpark blood hoggets are 1.5 years, weigh 64kg with a 32mm skin, heading to a buyer in Boort, VIC.

Another highlight includes a line from Halbury, SA, a line of Nyowee Poll Merino blood hoggets, weighing 63kgs with a 30mm skin, which sold for $301 and will be crossing the border to find their new paddock in Mildura, VIC.

Young Merino ewes (2-4 years) averaged $252 and sold from $176 to $331. The top price went to A/c “Oxton Park” Harden, NSW.

A run of 624 Bundilla & Poll Boonooke blood Merino ewes, aged 2 years, weighing 69kgs with 63mm skin, heading to Galong, NSW. Another highlight includes a line of 2.4 to 2.6 year old Woodpark blood ewes from Fernihurst, VIC. They weigh 77kgs, have a 32mm skin, and sold for $320 to a buyer in Elmore, VIC.

Proven Merino breeders (4 years +) and mixed aged ewes, averaged $223 and sold from $160 to $308.

The top price went to a line from A/c “Twelve Mile Pastoral Company” Wellington, NSW. These ewes are bred from Boxleigh Park bloodlines, aged 2 to 6 years, weigh 80kg with a 55mm skin and have been scanned in lamb to Poll Merino rams. Another highlight includes a line of 4 year old, Mumblebone blood ewes, weighing 68kgs from Cudal which sold for $290 to a buyer from Caniambo, VIC.

Merino wether lambs averaged $130 and sold from $106 to $165. The top price went to a line offered by A/c “ Allens Warrawee Park” Keith , SA.

These wethers have been bred from Moorundie bloodlines, are April ’20 drop and weigh 54kgs. From Burraboi, NSW a line of Terrick west blood wethers, May/June ’20 drop, 42kgs unshorn with a 433mm skin sold for $151 to a buyer in Cooma, NSW.

Grown Merino wethers averaged $153 and sold from $129 to $172. The top price went to a line from A/c “DB & IM Stewart” Ashford, NSW and heading to a buyer in Goondiwindi, QLD.

These wethers have been bred from Boonooke bloodlines, are 3 to 3.5 years and weigh 48kg with a 30mm skin. Another highlight includes a line of Hazeldean blood wethers, aged 13 to 14 months, weighing 52 kgs with a 48mm skin. These wethers are from Woodside, VIC and sold for $167 to a buyer in Birchip, VIC.

First cross ewe lambs were in high demand with 100% clearance for this stock category. Prices averaged $279 and sold from $227 to $368.

The top price went to a line from A/c “Avonside” Narromine, NSW. These ewe lambs are March’ 20 drop and weigh 59kgs. Another highlight comes from Wellington, NSW, a line of April/May ’20 drop ewes, weighing 43kgs which sold for $320 to a buyer is Kyneton, VIC.

First cross ewe hoggets averaged $345 and sold from $320 to $367. The top price went to a line from A/c “Max Plummer & Co” Tottenham, NSW. These ewes are 13 to 14 months, weigh 57kgs and are unjoined. From Wagga Wagga, NSW a line of 12 to 14 month first cross ewes, weighing 63kgs sold for $355 to a buyer in Goulburn, NSW.

Grown first cross ewes averaged $273 and sold from $177 to $354. The top price went to a line from A/c “WM  Munro & Sons” Coolamon, NSW. These ewes are 2.5 years old, weigh 73kg and going to their new home in Goulburn, NSW.

Store lamb numbers for the week saw a total of 28,132 head listed, an increase of 8,350 from last week with a clearance of 90%.

Prices ranged between 336c and 773c to average 411c, up 9c from last week. Some highlights include:

– Jul/Jul 20’ drop, 24kg, Merino/Border Leicester mixed sex suckers from COOTAMUNDRA, New South Wales sold for 773c or $184.

– Jun/Jul ’20 drop, 32kg, Merino/White Suffolk mixed sex suckers from BOOKHAM, New South Wales sold for 484c or $153.

– May/Jun ’20 drop, 28kg, Composite/Composite mixed sex suckers from TARRAYOUKYAN, New South Wales sold for 480c or $133.

– Jun/July ’20 drop, 29kg, Border Leicester/Merino/Primeline wether suckers from LESLIE MANOR, Victoria sold for 472c or $135.

– Jul/Aug ’20 drop, 29kg, Focus Prime mixed sex suckers from KINGSCOATE, South Australia sold for 446c or $129.

– Jun/Jul ’20 drop, 37kg, Merino/White Suffolk mixed sex suckers from BOOKHAM, New South Wales sold for 444c or $162.
