Sale top of $11,000 was lot 2, (pictured) Vala Maserati Agree (Imp.ET.Can) VG 85, this 2nd lactation 3 year old completed 15 gens of EX & VG and is a maternal sister to the current # 2 Proven Sire in Canada, Stantons Alligator, VG.
She was purchased by return Vala buyer, L Prout of Corra Lea Holsteins, Kerang, Vic.
Next top of $10,000 was paid by J & E Pethybridge of Whorouly for Vala Bandares Bolade, this fine uddered 3 year old is the dam of Bolti-Poll, gBPI + 514 at Agri Gene and is bred down from Rainyridge Super Beth.
Third high at $9,500 was paid for Vala Bandares Lust (Imp.ET.Can) GP 84, this milky young cow is from a VG 88 Doorman from Belfast Goldwyn Lasenza, EX 95 and was selected by P & C Castle of Allansford.
Other noted sales included Vala Lighthouse Rozi, VG 86, a very heavy milking 3 year old from the Splendor family at $7,500, Vala Bighit Haviana, a tremendous young cow from the Martha Sheens at $7,000 and Vala Bighit Constance from a sister to Stantons Chief also at $7,000.
Selling agents Dairy Livestock Services report an average of $4,836. For milking young cows, yearling heifers and bulls.
