John & Bev, Andrew & Jenna McIntyre hosted their 8th Annual Sale on March 21 on-property at Chateau Limousins, Wangaratta, and interfaced with Auctions Plus.
With one of the largest on-property crowds that experienced thus far at the sales, as well as a strong bidding presence online.
This year’s top price bull was Lot 2 – Chateau Recall JWMPR13, who was a double black, double polled son of Syes Backstage, tipping the scales at 862kg and a scrotal of 39cm purchased by Jason & Bronwyn Malseed of Mt Gambier Limousins, SA for $12,000.
With a further 2 bulls being purchased for Stud duties, including Lot 3 – JWMPR25 purchased by junior members Xavier & Ethan Hooppell of Carlsruhe Limousins, VIC.
There were six new buyers new taking home 7 bulls and selling to 3 states saw a sale average of $6,220 for 16/19 bulls.
