Entries are now open for the 7th TAS Junior Beef Expo on February 24-26 2023 at Deloraine Showgrounds, for ages 8-25.
2023 sees the introduction of a major prize for Advanced competitors, the Catie Loane Memorial Award.
This is a $2000 Bursary Donated by the TJBE Committee and the Loane Family, for the winner to spend as they wish.
Catie was a young passionate Shorthorn breeder and heavily involved in the Tasmanian Show circuit on the Expo committee itself.
Many shorthorn breeders across Australia would of known Catie as well as she explored mainland shows and stud sales.
Losing Catie in 2021 was devasting and felt by many.
TJBE looks forward to honoring Catie’s memory with her family.
All ages are invited to enter, and those that knew Catie personally to join us in 2023 and compete for this Award in her honor.
