Last week saw buyers descend on Wingham and braved the humidity for the Warrigal Limousin Reduction Sale where majority of the Warrigal herd was on offer.
The sale was conducted by Tim Bayliss, Ray White Dorrigo, with a strong presence on AuctionsPlus and cattle selling to five states.
A total of 43/44 females sold to Av. $9,326. The top priced female was Lot 3 Warrigal Wynnes Shadow S3 selling for $23,000 to Andrew Ralph of Tooronga Limousins who also secured Warrigal Foxy Lady Q1 for $17,000.
Cows and calves topped at $16,00 twice for Lot 4 Mandayen Star P6 to Cranston family and Lot 14 Warrigal Nicky’s Exception K23 Elders Toowoomba.
Unjoined females were in high demand with Warrigal Tilly T12 topping at $15,000 to Mick and Mary Parsons.
A total of 5/6 Bulls sold topping at $15,000 twice for Lot 49 Warrigal Showman S9 to Gavin and Emily Saul and Lot 50 Warrigal Showtime S12 to Alexander Downs av. $9800.
