Nominate those who have made an outstanding wool industry contribution

 It’s now time to consider nominating a worthy recipient for the 2023 Australian Wool Industry Medal. 

Since 2017, Wool Industries Australia Inc. (WIA) has presented 36 Medals to outstanding recipients who have made an outstanding and lasting contribution to the Australian wool industry. Who will be next? 

Medalists have been recognized from a broad range of sectors within the Australian wool Industry including: Wool producing, wool classing, shearing, brokering, exporting, testing, market reporting and analysis, administration, education, promotion, science, processing, and fashion/retail.

ll have made an exceptional and lasting contribution to the Australian wool industry.

Who do you know?

Consider some of the following questions:

*Has someone you know demonstrated service worthy of recognition?

*Has their contribution had a significant impact in the wool industry in either a particular field or across industry?

*Have they been recognised elsewhere (eg: in the media, by other awards, professional / interestgroups or through local government) or previously received an award relating to the wool industry?

Wool Industries Australia is the peak body for the Australian wool industry. Members include: Australian Council of Wool Exporters and Processors, Australian Wool Exchange, AWH Pty Ltd, Australian Wool Innovation, Australian Wool Testing Authority, The National Council of Wool Selling Brokers of Australia, and WoolProducers Australia.
